Phantom Gourmet is proud to announce that the Restaurant Rejuvenation Act is
now Massachusetts law.  According to the Alcoholic Beverage Control
Commission (ABCC), there are four steps that each city or town must take to
allow restaurants to serve alcohol Sunday 10AM:

1)  M.G.L. c. 138 section 38B, as most recently amended, must be activated.

2)  The local licensing authority must decide how it will administer
discretionary hours of sale.

3)  The local licensing authority must hold a hearing that complies with the
Open Meeting Law.

4)  The local licensing authority must forward "Form 43" to the ABCC.

For questions and the complete memorandum, please refer to the Alcoholic
Beverages Control Commission (mass.gov/abcc or 617-727-3040 extension 31).

At the suggestion of Phantom Gourmet, this bipartisan initiative was submitted by Senators Richard Tisei  and Bob Hedlund (Republican) and Senators Steven Panagiotakos and Jack Hart (Democrat).  It was also submitted by Representative Karen Polito (Republican) and Representative Jim Dwyer (Democrat).  It will help the restaurant industry, one of our greatest employers, fight the recession.
